Me And The Demons Know Jesus Is Lord!

How should I title this? Going to Hell in the Light? No, that sounds to rough, too judgmental. How about "Walking the broad road with open eyes?" That's a little more watered down but people might still get the idea and I would be back to "brother you have no love." How about, "Me and the demons know Jesus is Lord".

That might just work. It's scriptural and at the same time nobody will know what I am talking about so I will offend no one.

You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder.
James 2:19

There you go. I believe, that's good, and the demons believe and shudder in terror. One thing I give the demons credit for they really do know that Jesus is Lord and when Jesus told them to do something they did it. Jesus tells them to get out, they leave. Jesus tells them to be quiet they shut up. Jesus never gave the demons any choice. I know He let them inhabit a bunch of pigs once when they asked but He had a reason for that. The rest of the time it was do this and they did it. No choice, demons know the power of God and are terrified of it and for good reason: their end is assured. Christians, on the other hand, are not treated that way. God does not make a Christian do anything. Jesus says to us, "If". We to are supposed to know the power and the love of God. We are supposed to also know why we love Him.

We love Him, because He first loved us
1st John 4:19

And we are supposed to be motivated by love, not fear. The Father commanded His Son to die for us and the Son obeyed His Father, that is love. What do you do when you really know that?

If you [really] love Me, you will keep (obey) My commands.
John 14:15

The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.]
John 14:21

Jesus answered, If a person [really] loves Me, he will keep My word [obey My teaching]; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home (abode, special dwelling place) with him.
John 14:23

I know everyone has heard that "IF" is a big word in the Bible, and that is because it is. Every single day we as individuals are given a choice to obey or not. If we obey, this is the fruit that we love God and are His. The other side of the coin is:

He who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
John 14:24

It is cut and dry. Don't love, don't obey. Don't obey, no fruit, and you are not His. And to be sure we understood this the Lord adds, "these words belong to the Father." These words are not going to change for anyone. Jesus Christ, God who chose to become a man, born not of this world but into it without sin, did not hold Himself exempt from this truth.

But [ Satan is coming and] I do as the Father has commanded Me, so that the world may know (be convinced) that I love the Father and that I do only what the Father has instructed Me to do. [I act in full agreement with His orders.] Rise, let us go away from here.
John 14:31

Let me state some facts, some scriptural truths, and some will not like it. Some will deny it, deny God's Word, deny Christ, and still call yourself a Christian. First, what are you saved for? Answer---that the Son of God might be manifested in your mortal flesh. Is that happening in you? Is this what your life is about? Don't treat this lightly: it is heaven and hell and eternally serious. Salvation is a free gift, you can not earn it or do anything for your salvation. But hear this, you must do something to manifest it, you must work out what God has worked in. You have also been given a responsibility with the gift and you will stand before God and give an account of what you did.

Therefore, my dear ones, as you have always obeyed [my suggestions], so now, not only [with the enthusiasm you would show] in my presence but much more because I am absent, work out (cultivate, carry out to the goal, and fully complete) your own salvation with reverence and awe and trembling (self-distrust, with serious caution, tenderness of conscience, watchfulness against temptation, timidly shrinking from whatever might offend God and discredit the name of Christ).
Philippians 2:12

I'm not talking about dropping bad habits. I'm not talking about "I go to Church." I'm not talking about "I tithe ten percent of my earnings." On that note can anybody give me the scripture where Jesus, Luke, Paul, James, Peter, John, or Jude wrote that the people that are the New Testament Church are suppose to give ten percent of their earnings. I think if tithing was suppose to be New Testament doctrine God would have mentioned it in the New Testament.

Your only goal should be that the Son of God be manifested on every occasion. We are not to tell God how it is going to be, how far we will go. Did Jesus do that to His Father? We are here to submit to His will so that He may work through us what He wants. If you are still set in your own way, it is a lie to say that God has saved and sanctified you. Salvation is a gift to be used, not hidden.

"No man, when he hath lighted a candle covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light".
Luke 8:16

Next, are you devoted to a Person or a cause? Are you absolutely Jesus Christ's? Do you have a personal relationship with Christ? God wants that more than anything else.

When he has brought his own sheep outside, he walks on before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice.
John 10:4

Do you know that voice? A son or daughter knows the voice of their Father. Or are you still at the place where if something good happens "that's God" and if something bad happens "that's not God" and you don't even know for sure. Do you pray and hope God will answer or do you pray and know God will answer? Do you pray hoping it is God's will or do you pray knowing it is God's will. God said (not me) that if you pray according to His will, He will give us what we ask.

And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. 15And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him.
John 5:14

I ask again, do you have a personal relationship with your Father? Do you know His voice, His leading, His will? If not, why not? Are you to busy with the things of life instead of making the Source of life your priority? Are you keeping your life and thereby losing it instead of losing it to gain real life. Remember, we are here to submit to His will so that He may work through us what He wants.

What should you do?

10) [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]

11) That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body].

12) Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own.

13) I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,

14) I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.

15) So let those [of us] who are spiritually mature and full-grown have this mind and hold these convictions; and if in any respect you have a different attitude of mind, God will make that clear to you also.

16) Only let us hold true to what we have already attained and walk and order our lives by that.
Philippians 3:10 - 16

1) I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.

2) Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].

3) For by the grace (unmerited favor of God) given to me I warn everyone among you not to estimate and think of himself more highly than he ought [not to have an exaggerated opinion of his own importance], but to rate his ability with sober judgment, each according to the degree of faith apportioned by God to him.
Romans 12: 1 - 3

Do you think you are one of the few?

13) "Enter through the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and spacious and broad is the way that leads away to destruction, and many are those who enter it.

14) "But the gate is narrow (contracted by pressure) and the way is straitened and compressed that leads away to life, and few are those who find it."
Matthew 7:13 - 14

Why is the "gate narrow" and "the way straitened and compressed that leads away to life," and "few" (Greek word [oligos] meaning puny in extent, degree, number, duration or value), are those who find it."? We know heaven is a big place and it is a place where God's will is done all the time. We know that Jesus died to open that gate for us to enter. But Jesus is the One who warns us that a puny number enter in.

20) Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits.

21) Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven.

22) Many will say to Me on that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done many mighty works in Your name?

23) And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].

24) So everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts upon them [obeying them] will be like a sensible (prudent, practical, wise) man who built his house upon the rock.
Matthew 7: 20 - 24

There is that fruit thing again, that God's will thing, that obey thing.

Here is the sad truth: The Church today is full of people, and every one of them thinks they are one of the 'puny in number' few. God has been sending Prophets to this country for decades shouting, "The Church is asleep in the light". Are you asleep in the Light? Each and everyone of us is going to have to stand before God and give a total account of what we did with everything God gave us. Are you spending your self for the sake of the gospel? Going to church to worship, tithing, and being what man calls a good person is exactly what the Pharisees did. For a large part, today's church is the same. Jesus puts it this way:

To the Church that bears My name "For you say, I am rich; I have prospered and grown wealthy, and are in need of nothing; and you do not realize and understand that you are wretched, pitiable, poor, blind and naked. Therefore I counsel you to purchase from Me gold refined and tested by fire, that you may be {truly} wealthy, and white clothes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nudity from been seen, and salve to put on your eyes, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and REPENT."
Revelation 3:17 - 19

Many Churches teach that God no longer calls Apostles or Prophets, just Teachers, Evangelists and Pastors. Many Churches teach that God no longer moves in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

In the last days "For [although] they hold a form of piety (true religion), they deny and reject and are strangers to the power of it [their conduct belies the genuineness of their profession]. Avoid [all] such people [turn away from them].
2nd Timothy 3:5

Heed the words in Revelation 2:5:

"Remember then the heights you have fallen. Repent (change the inner man to meet God's will) and do the works you did previously [when first you knew the Lord], or else I will visit you and removed your lamp stand from its place, unless you change your mind and repent."

God is true. He is not a liar, and He does not mince words. Unless there is a true repentance, He will do as it states in Revelation 3:16 and "vomit the lukewarm out of His mouth." He is already removing lamp stands and the people there have just what they want. As it states in 2nd Timothy 4:3-4, "For a time is coming when [people] will not tolerate (endure) sound and wholesome instruction, but, having ears itching [for something pleasing and gratifying], they will gather to themselves one teacher after another to a considerable number, chosen to satisfy their own liking and to foster the errors they hold, And will turn aside from hearing the truth and wander off into myths and man-made fictions."

This is an absolute truth, God is love. He did what He had to do, there was no other way to bridge the gap between mankind, born in sin, than what Jesus did. Sin is not a state of wrong doing, it is a state of wrong Being. You must be born-again. If you are born-again of the Spirit of God why do you not hear Him and obey what His will is?

Read Matthew chapter 25. I will even tack it on to the end of this article so you don't have to look it up. Are you low on oil? Have you buried your talent, the gift God gave you? Have you fallen away from your first love? If so, repent and get about your Father's business before it is too late. The Pharisees thought much of themselves. They had a religion and tacked God's name on it. They were good religious folk in their own eyes. Today we have a church full of good religious folk. The only difference is we have tacked Christ's name on it.

The Pharisees talked much about the coming Messiah and the great revival. Today we talk much about the same things only we ignore that the scriptures say in the last days there will be a great "falling away" from the faith. Not that people won't go to church but that they will believe a different gospel: one based on self. Look around: prosperity doctrines, divine healing doctrines, self help books on and on, what's in it for me teachings. Remember we are here to submit to His will so that He may work through us what He wants.

I will end with this. Call it what God is speaking to those servants who will listen all over the world. Don't be too busy to listen.

1) AND AGAIN Jesus spoke to them in parables (comparisons, stories used to illustrate and explain), saying,

2) The kingdom of heaven is like a king who gave a wedding banquet for his son

3) And sent his servants to summon those who had been invited to the wedding banquet, but they refused to come.

4) Again he sent other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my banquet; my bullocks and my fat calves are killed, and everything is prepared; come to the wedding feast.

5) But they were not concerned and paid no attention [they ignored and made light of the summons, treating it with contempt] and they went away--one to his farm, another to his business,

6) While the others seized his servants, treated them shamefully, and put them to death.

7) [Hearing this] the king was infuriated; and he sent his soldiers and put those murderers to death and burned their city.

8) Then he said to his servants, The wedding [feast] is prepared, but those invited were not worthy.

9) So go to the thoroughfares where they leave the city [where the main roads and those from the country end] and invite to the wedding feast as many as you find.

10) And those servants went out on the crossroads and got together as many as they found, both bad and good, so [the room in which] the wedding feast [was held] was filled with guests.

11) But when the king came in to view the guests, he looked intently at a man there who had on no wedding garment.

12) And he said, Friend, how did you come in here without putting on the [appropriate] wedding garment? And he was speechless (muzzled, gagged).

13) Then the king said to the attendants, Tie him hand and foot, and throw him into the darkness outside; there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.

14) For many are called (invited and summoned), but few are chosen.
Matthew 22:1 - 14

Are you still too busy to come? Got your own thing to take care of in these last moments of time? Your life on this earth is like smoke in the wind compared to eternity and what's not done for eternity in this life is eternally useless.

1) THEN THE kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the bridegroom.

2) Five of them were foolish (thoughtless, without forethought) and five were wise (sensible, intelligent, and prudent).

3) For when the foolish took their lamps, they did not take any [extra] oil with them;

4) But the wise took flasks of oil along with them [also] with their lamps.

5) While the bridegroom lingered and was slow in coming, they all began nodding their heads, and they fell asleep.

6) But at midnight there was a shout, Behold, the bridegroom! Go out to meet him!

7) Then all those virgins got up and put their own lamps in order.

8) And the foolish said to the wise, Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.

9) But the wise replied, There will not be enough for us and for you; go instead to the dealers and buy for yourselves.

10) But while they were going away to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were prepared went in with him to the marriage feast; and the door was shut.

11) Later the other virgins also came and said, Lord, Lord, open [the door] to us!

12) But He replied, I solemnly declare to you, I do not know you [I am not acquainted with you].

13) Watch therefore [give strict attention and be cautious and active], for you know neither the day nor the hour when the Son of Man will come.

14) For it is like a man who was about to take a long journey, and he called his servants together and entrusted them with his property.

15) To one he gave five talents [probably about $5,000], to another two, to another one--to each in proportion to his own personal ability. Then he departed and left the country.

16) He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he gained five talents more.

17) And likewise he who had received the two talents--he also gained two talents more.

18) But he who had received the one talent went and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master's money.

19) Now after a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.

20) And he who had received the five talents came and brought him five more, saying, Master, you entrusted to me five talents; see, here I have gained five talents more.

21) His master said to him, Well done, you upright (honorable, admirable) and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy (the delight, the blessedness) which your master enjoys.

22) And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, Master, you entrusted two talents to me; here I have gained two talents more.

23) His master said to him, Well done, you upright (honorable, admirable) and faithful servant! You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little; I will put you in charge of much. Enter into and share the joy (the delight, the blessedness) which your master enjoys.

24) He who had received one talent also came forward, saying, Master, I knew you to be a harsh and hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you had not winnowed [the grain].

25) So I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here you have what is your own.

26) But his master answered him, You wicked and lazy and idle servant! Did you indeed know that I reap where I have not sowed and gather [grain] where I have not winnowed?

27) Then you should have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I would have received what was my own with interest.

28) So take the talent away from him and give it to the one who has the ten talents.

29) For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will be furnished richly so that he will have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have will be taken away.

30) And throw the good-for-nothing servant into the outer darkness; there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.

31) When the Son of Man comes in His glory (His majesty and splendor), and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.

32) All nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them [the people] from one another as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats;

33) And He will cause the sheep to stand at His right hand, but the goats at His left.

34) Then the King will say to those at His right hand, Come, you blessed of My Father [you favored of God and appointed to eternal salvation], inherit (receive as your own) the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

35) For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and lodged Me,

36) I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me.

37) Then the just and upright will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry and gave You food, or thirsty and gave You something to drink?

38) And when did we see You a stranger and welcomed and entertained You, or naked and clothed You?

39) And when did we see You sick or in prison and came to visit You?

40) And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least [in the estimation of men] of these My brethren, you did it for Me.

41) Then He will say to those at His left hand, Begone from Me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels!

42) For I was hungry and you gave Me no food, I was thirsty and you gave Me nothing to drink,

43) I was a stranger and you did not welcome Me and entertain Me, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me with help and ministering care.

44) Then they also [in their turn] will answer, Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?

45) And He will reply to them, Solemnly I declare to you, in so far as you failed to do it for the least [in the estimation of men] of these, you failed to do it for Me.

46) Then they will go away into eternal punishment, but those who are just and upright and in right standing with God into eternal life.
Matthew 25:1 - 46
