Prayer Requests
The Lord may be bringing the answer to your prayer even now!

In the course of any given day, we receive anywhere from several to many prayer requests. In order that those who are making the requests receive the full benefit of "effectual fervent prayer," we have offered to put some of those requests on our "prayer page" that those of you in the Body of Christ who can, will be in prayer for or with them. We have not included their names; the Lord knows who they are.

We have always met together as a body to pray for those who send in requests. In some cases, however, we do not feel that it is enough for just our body to pray and would like to have others praying as well.

Our reply to Elder Brimoh Ayo

My Dear Brother in Christ; May this correspondence find you in the exceedingly great joy of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. May your life and that of your loved ones be filled with peace and the knowledge that you are called of God, carrying out His will, for which you shall receive the fullness of your reward when you hear the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Lord". We have, as of this date, received your letter from Nigeria advising us of your situation and your requests for Bibles and other materials. Allow me to say that God has deeply touched my heart as I read your letter. In fact, I found myself weeping through most of it, for I had to ask myself, "If I were in your place, would I have gone back a second time to minister to those who beat me, after barely escaping with my life"? Even though many times over the years my life has been threatened, and security police have come to the places where I was preaching, telling me they would shoot me if I did not stop. I had, at that time, been given the precious Grace and Strength of Jesus. Thus I felt no fear and was able to continue to speak the words God had given me, even unto those who stood waiting to kill me. So when I say I understand your situation, I speak from experience and from receiving that glorious mercy of God. For surely there shall be no permanent harm done to us, save it be the will of God and the time our Father has chosen to call us Home. Our prayers go out to those dear brothers who were with you and were hurt in this most evil attack; and to the families of those who gave their lives for the sake of the Gospel. We will continue to hold you all in prayer before God, that as you do His will, His peace and Glory shall rest upon you for all to see. You will be contacted by e-mail in a day or so by my son and his wife, (Rev. Josiah and Joanna Bernier), regarding your request for Study Bibles, regular Bibles and other materials, which will be sent to you as soon as possible. Do you have access to either a CD player or a cassette tape player that we may send you some Christian teaching ministries and so forth? We will also be sending you salvation tracts as well as tracts for growth in Christ. Your love, diligence and humility in Christ; your willingness to face and overcome all obstacles for His Name's sake has touched me more than you could know.
