Where Are You?

God asked, "Adam where are you"? God knew exactly where Adam was. He wanted Adam to stop and think about it. How about you; have you ever asked where YOU are at; why are YOU there, and what are YOU going to do about it, if anything? Some people are quite content to stay hidden where they are, deal with their problems as best they can (pull yourself up by your own bootstraps, so to speak); or not deal with them at all. They say, ”I don't love my wife or husband anymore, or. “ I don't have the same feelings for them or they don't for me”. If you think love is nothing but a feeling, give it some time. Sleep around with all those you now are in (love) with while you cheat on your spouse and put your kids through a living hell. It's ok, it felt right at the time. After all, your needs are of primary importance. Then write to me and tell me how you conclude love is a feeling.

I can't think of a job that I have worked at whether it be on a construction site, at a factory, or in an office, where there was not at least one person, usually more, that will tell you all day long how much they hate their jobs. They could not wait to get off work and, [go home to their families?], no, go and get a beer. They deserved that time to relax after doing that thing that they hate for eight, ten, twelve hours a day, being under paid and not appreciated. Getting another job or going to get some training and doing something they can at least tolerate just does not occur to them. That would be more work and they are content to complain.

From the rich who seem to have everything, to the middle class that work hard to scrap by, to the poor that work hard just to eat, to the ones in poverty who need a hand up not just a hand out; no matter which way you turn this world just doesn't spin your direction.

The question is, where are you?

Someone once said the human soul is in the shape of a glove that only the hand of God can fit. This is true. We say, 'if only I had more money, a better job, the perfect spouse and kids, etc. then I would be happy. Go spend a few more hundred dollars on lottery tickets this year. It's what a one in 250,000,000 or so chance that you will win the big one.

Point being; God made us human beings, unless you want to believe we evolved from monkeys and they evolved from some lower form of life that evolved from some lower form of life that evolved from some chemicals that came from rocks or comets or whatever. If you want to believe that all we are, is a chemical and electrical reaction that evolved from rocks, go ahead. Then you will not have to worry about love, feelings, family or money for that matter. You most likely have a hundred years or less to live. Why would you care who you hurt, live it up! The Bible says "Sin is fun for a season." But why would you worry about sin, heaven or hell. When the chemicals don't react any more and the electricity quits flowing we are all plant food anyway.

Let's get down to where the rubber meets the road. Stop and think about where you are. Don't look at anyone else, where are you at? For just a few minutes, choke down all that 'know it all' pride and listen to your heart, not your head.

First of all:
God made you: (John chapter 1 verse 3). "All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being."

You will die: (Hebrews chapter 9 verse 27) "And just as it is appointed for [all] men once to die, and after that the [certain] judgment.

You will be judged: Jesus said you will be judged for not only every deed you have ever done but every word you have ever spoken; (Matthew chapter12 verse 36) "But I tell you, on the Day of Judgment men will have to give account for every idle word they speak"

Husbands you are appointed by God as the head of your house, You will give an account, not only for yourself, but for your wife and children as well. (Ephesians 5 verse 25), “Husbands, love your wives,” (and I mean love, not this 'get what you can so you feel good' feeling that the world calls love), “as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her."

(Proverbs 22 verse 6) "Train up a child in the way he or she should go [and in keeping with his or her individual gift or bent], and when he or she is old they will not depart from it."

Now, if you 're so bent on believing you evolved from a rock, you will not believe any of those scriptures and you will still stand condemned in judgment; not only of your words and deeds, but also your thoughts, motivations, works, lack of works, everything. God sees and knows it all. Maybe your brain has not evolved so much from that rock.

What's worse is some of you saying you believe in God, maybe even go to church, and give a little money too. Why you good person you! Go to church once a week and give your stupid 10%. Most people only give that because they are taught that this is the only way to get blessed. That's not what I call selfless giving. Don't bother to look at what true giving is in the New Testament Church. Just keep following Old Testament laws. Than you can be accountable for that too. Read (Galatians 3 verse 10) "And all who depend on the Law [who are seeking to be justified by obedience to the Law} are under a curse".

God became man and allowed Himself to be beaten, whipped, nailed and hung on the cross while people publicly humiliated Him. He did this so you could be saved from Hell; and you give two hours of your time and a few dollars. (Matthew 7 verses 20-23) "Therefore you will fully know them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father Who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, Lord. Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name and driven out demons in Your name and done mighty works in Your name? And then I will say to them openly (publicly), I never knew you; depart from Me, you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands]." Where are you Christian? If you believe that going to Church, paying tithes (which is Old Testament), reading the Word and praying is all (the total sum) of the will of God for you, you might as well go to the bar with the guy who thinks he evolved from a rock. You're lukewarm at best. I bet you know John 3:16, but read Revelation 3:16. Start with verse 15; "I know your [record of] works and what you are doing; you are neither cold or hot. Would that you were cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm and neither cold or hot, I will spew (Greek word "emeo" meaning-to vomit) you out of My mouth!"

What does God mean by fruit? What does God mean by doing His will? I have more respect for the guy who thinks he comes from a rock. At least he tries to back it up with the comet theory. Ask yourself this Christian: why did God not take you home the instant you accepted Christ? Why does God command us to fellowship (go to church)? Read Roman chapter 12: What does God call your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship? How much of your life do you offer up? 10%, 20% ? A recent survey says over 65% of Christians in the U.S say that they believe we live in the last days. Billions are going to hell right now. So let's sit back and work on our 401Ks and watch it on the news and say to one another how close we are to the Lord's coming. While you are at it buy a few more books on the subject, you don't want to be uninformed.

If you really want to be informed, how about 2nd Timothy 2 verse 15. "Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly handling and skillfully teaching] the WORD OF TRUTH." Then maybe you would learn the real reason why you are supposed to have fellowship with those of like faith, (i.e. The Body of Christ), and why the unsaved don't. They aren't afraid of Jesus. In fact God is drawing them to Him. More than likely, they have been to church before and they don't want to become like the people in them. Keep driving them and tell Him how full of love you are. Keep passing them by in the street and at work and at home. Say to yourself; that's an evangelist's job. Well, where are they? I see them mostly in the church. Scheduling in the Holy Ghost for a revival on the 25th of the month. Could be there are thousands of Christians called to do something, but they are content to stay hidden and justify their luke-warmness by paying their tithes and offerings. But faith without actions is dead. God saved you to DO something! Do you even bother to pray, study, look around you and see what it is? The Gospel of John chapter 10 verses 1-4 says, "I ASSURE you, most solemnly I tell you, he who does not enter by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way (elsewhere, form some other quarter) is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. The watchman opens the door for this man, and the sheep listen to his voice and heed it; and he calls his own sheep by name and brings (leads) them out. When he has brought his own sheep outside, he walks before them, and the sheep follow him because they know his voice". By the way this tract started as a salvation tract to the unsaved and the lost and still is.

True Christianity is not even a religion; it is a relationship between a person and God; between God the creator and His creation, mankind. If God is your loving Father why are you not listening to His voice? Could it be that you are content just hear someone talk about Jesus a few times a week or do you have the guts to be a real Christian? To count the cost and offer up your life to the One who is Worthy. To take back your home and family. To stand up in Church and get about your Father's will. To take it outside because you are the Church, not the building you meet in, YOU. You are part of the body of Christ.

If you are one of those who still believe you evolved from a rock. You can repent and simply ask Jesus to forgive you and come into your heart, into your life. Don't become religious, become a Christian. Get a Bible, pray and read it. Desire and ask God to show you His will, and then do it. Pray and ask Him to guide you to where he wants you to fellowship. They have things to teach you and you have things to teach them. Let Him guide you. It may be across the street or 100 miles away but He has a place for you that will make room for your gifts and calling. When you have accepted Christ into your heart you have passed over judgment, death and hell. He came to give you life and that more abundantly, forever. His desire is to help you with all your problems for He is a loving Father. He will guide you; give you wisdom in all things. Because if God is with you and He is, (He calls you His son or His daughter) than who can stand against you?

When you realize that, you know exactly where you are. In the arms of God, just how He created you to be.
