What Is Your Burden?
Does the burden seem too great to bear?
Do you feel as if everyone has deserted you?
Is this desert just too wide to cross?
Take heart because Jesus has a message just for you.
My dear Child, "Come to me, all you who are weary and
burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for
I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my
yoke is easy and my burden is light." (Matthew 11:28-30.)
"Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in Me."
(John 14:1.) "I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In
this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
(John 16:33.) "My grace is enough for you. For my power is at its best when
you are weak." (2 Corinthians 12:9.)
And be sure of this - that "I am with you always - even to the end of the
world." (Matthew 28:20.)
With all my love,

Sometimes the cares and worries of the day cause us to lose heart and forget
who and what the focus of our daily lives are. Return to His commands to
"Keep your mind on things above, not on earthly things. Although you were dead
in sins and your uncircumcised flesh, God made you alive with Christ when He
forgave us all our sins." (Colossians 3:2-3.) "So, throw all your worry
on Him because He cares for you." (Psalms 55:22.) "Don't worry about
anything, but in every concern thankfully make known your requests to God in
prayer. Then the peace of God which is beyond all understanding will guard your
hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7.)
"No temptation has taken hold of you other than that which any human being
can expect and you can trust God. He will not let you be tested more than you
can stand. But when you are tested, He will also give you a way out so that you
can bear it." (1 Corinthians 10:13.)
"For I am convinced that nothing can separate us from His love. Death
can't, and life can't. The angels won't, and all the powers of hell itself
cannot keep God's love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, or
where we are - high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean - nothing will ever
be able to separate us from the love God has for us in Christ Jesus our Lord."
(Romans 8:38-39.)
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love
Him and have been called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28.) "You,
dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in
you is greater than the one who is in the world." (1 John 4:4.) "If God
is on our side, who can be against us?" (Romans 8:31.) "No, in all these
things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us." (Romans 8:37.)
