The Time Is Short
We are now living in the last days of God's Mercy and Grace. Many will read
this weekly encouragement and walk away unchanged and unconcerned about the way
they stand before the Lord. Others will take hold of what the Lord is saying to
them, only to find something better to do when the mood changes. My prayer is
that each one of you will open up your hearts, eyes and ears because you will
surely need them in these final days ahead.
The Hand of God is coming down upon the face of the earth. You cannot ignore
it, nor escape His hand approaching those who will not hearken unto His voice.
The lost wander in complete misery. The weary walk with worry and doubt on their
shoulders. The rebellious run anywhere as long as they don't have to listen, do
or say what the Lord wants them to. Meanwhile on the face of the earth is war,
rumors of war, diverse weather, disease and famine. We war against and kill each
other. Hell is filling up quickly. The awesomeness and
magnitude of God's wrath is unstoppable. But, believe it or not, it is only the
beginning.
Thousands upon thousands of lives have been taken from hurricanes,
earthquakes and storms. In Louisiana and New Orleans,
Hurricane Katrina took over 1,000 lives. In Pakistan the Earthquake and Tsunami
has taken over 73,000 lives so far. In Guatemala Tropical Storm Stan takes over
600 lives. In Mexico, Haiti and Jamaica, Hurricane Wilma takes 17 lives. In
Southern Indiana, a tornado: 22 lives taken.
How many of those people went to be with the Lord? How many of those people
are burning in Hell right now?
Every time I hear the president say, "May God Bless you," I cringe. All that
goes through my mind when I hear those words are, "God have Mercy." We are
living in the last days and the Lord has had mercy on us. He has been merciful.
He has given us opportunity after opportunity to change. He has had patience as
He watched every single one of us fall into sin over and over again. He has been
there every time we repented and then turned around and spat in His face again.
He has been there when we knew Him and also when we forgot who He was when we
were with friends.
We now live each moment in suspense, waiting for our Savior Jesus Christ to
call us up into the air. We eagerly wait with anticipation for the trumpet to
blow and our spiritual bodies to be in the presence of the Savior.
Someone asked me a question this week. It was, "What would you do if you woke
up tomorrow and your entire family were gone, and you were left here alone on
this earth?" My answer to that question was, "I would go insane." I would know
that my husband and children went to be with the Lord for eternity. I would go
insane because I would know my end would be the fiery pits of Hell, a place that
my mind cannot even begin to comprehend. For the rest of my doomed life I would
wander in complete fear. I would be an insane person,
probably in a mental institution, without ever accepting my future home, Hell.
What would you do if you came home from work and your family was gone? All that
remains is their physical bodies. The breath in them were gone and you were left
with the corpses.
Cry out to the Lord in bitter anguish for the sake of your salvation.
Repent!! A remnant is less than 10%. Less than 10% of this world will join with
Christ. We are now in the birth pains of the 7-year tribulation. Do not delay.
The way we stand now before our Maker is between Heaven and Hell. Run to the
Father while there is yet time and before His Wrath falls upon you.
This month we celebrate Thanksgiving. Celebrate it praising and thanking God
for the Grace and Mercy He has given us thus far. Be thankful that many of you
will wake up with the opportunity to be used of God. Take every opportunity to
give God the glory, even if your circumstances seem unbearable.
Have you noticed everything that did not annoy you before annoys you now?
Have you noticed that the person that you cannot stand is the person you have
become? Do you worry about things you never used to worry about? Do you find it
harder to walk with the Lord the way you used to? Is it hard for you to keep
your thoughts at bay and your mouth shut?
Welcome to the biggest test you will ever go through! It is the critical test
that will determine your eternity; the test that will make you want to turn or
burn. All your struggles in life will be nothing compared to what you are about
to endure in these final moments of God's Mercy. It is the ultimate test of
self-giving and living to please your Maker. It is the vital trial of
perseverance, endurance and faith. It is the test that will make or break your
walk with the Lord.
It will be the longest battle you have had to endure. We will be tested in
every area of our lives. I encourage you dear brothers and sisters in the Lord
to be on your guard. The enemy wants you dead. He wants your soul. Don't give
him any reason to do so. Check yourself constantly that you are in right
standing with the Lord. The enemy doesn't care about you. In fact, he hates you
and he doesn't want to go the lake of fire and brimstone alone.
The Word of God says that if we seek Him with all our hearts, minds and
strength, we will find Him. Stop running to man for approval or for the answer
because God is the only answer. If you seek Him, you will find Him if you are
genuine. The Lord will always give us a way of escape. Be encouraged that you
are not the only one going through these same tests and trials. Be encouraged
and go to the Father whenever you are in need of His answer, counsel, and love.
He loves you and me and His Mercy is now only for but a moment so take hold of
it. Take hold of Christ and let him change and mold you. Let Him be your Savior.
Let Him rescue you out of the jaws of Satan and his evil plans for your life.
This life we live is short compared to the eternity that awaits us.
