Are You Living A Lie Too?

Timothy 4:4 – they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

This scripture should not be taken lightly. There is much corruption in the church that is leading to destruction. The Lord does not say that people may turn their ears away, but that they will. There are too many spineless pastors who will not rebuke and bring the truth out, because they are afraid of loosing people who attend their church. They do not want to stir up the body of believers. They are spineless because they too are afraid of the truth.

Many people are caught in a cloud and will not accept the stern side of the truth, only the love of God. They do not want to hear about the severity of God and the consequence of sin. But many will accept the myths and fables, which are lies. Have we forgotten the scripture that says that the truth will set us free?

There is no way the Spirit of the Lord can live in a body that is filled with sexual immorality and perversion, pedophiles and deceitfulness, witchcraft and selfish ambition, rage and murder. Most of these acts are being swept under the carpet for the sake of pride. "What will people think of me, what will people say"? Who cares!!! It is not man that you will stand before on the Day of Judgment. It is the Lord.

To turn your ears away, means to turn back from whence you came. Many have already forsaken the Lord because life did not go their way and God required too many life changed. Many did not want to step out of their comfort zones. Many have already walked away from the Lord because they did not get what they wanted whether it be a car, a house, an education, a wife, husband or kids. There are many reasons why. In many cases the Lord has not given us what we so desired, because he knows that these things and people will only draw us away from him.

If you are considering walking away from the Lord this day, please do not do it, for it will only lead you to the gates of hell. It will only make your despair worse. Your father loves you more than you can possibly know and only has good in store for you. The Lord called you for a reason. If you are too weak to carry the burden, come to the father and let him lift it.

If you are dealing with something in your life where you feel like you are between 2 brick walls and can not seem to break through, come to the father, call someone you can trust, send us an email. Seek the Lord and find council in him and through the people that he has given you to give you strength and rest. Bring out the truth, expose the sin that you may be set free. Incline your heart to God, seek his truth, his ways and live this day.
